Neste traballo preténdese facer un achegamento ás notacións das técnicas
estendidas especificamente para a gaita de fol, baseándonos nas posibilidades e
limitantes do instrumento, con este fin se amosan distintos xeitos de representación
atopados en obras doutros instrumentos que comparten características coa gaita de fol, e
obras especificamente para o instrumento en estudo.
Aínda que o estudo está baseado nas técnicas estendidas na gaita de fol,
especificamente para o século XXI, faise necesario dar unha ollada ao pasado para
coñecer como os compositores fan as notacións das técnicas estendidas para outros
instrumentos noutras épocas, polo tanto amosaremos exemplos de obras coñecidas e
autores como Brian Ferneyhough, Edgar Varèse, George Crumb, Heitor Villalobos,
Helmut Lachenmann, John Cage, Pierre Boulez, entre outros.
O traballo está organizado de maneira que poidamos consultar obras de carácter
internacional, para pasar ao máis específico e local dende onde se fai o estudo, que é
Galicia.
Tamén fixemos a descrición de distintas técnicas estendidas así como propostas
de notacións de técnicas que ata o momento deste traballo non se usaron na gaita de fol,
polo que o traballo pretende aportar ferramentas para os compositores e instrumentistas.

In this work we tried to make an approach to the notations of the extended
techniques specifically for the bagpipes, based on possibilities and limitations of the
instrument, for this purpose are shown different ways of representation found in works for
other instruments that share characteristics with the bagpipe, and works specifically for the
instrument under study.
Although the work is based on the extended techniques for bagpipe, specifically
from the 21st century, it is necessary to look at the past to find out how composers make
the notations of the extended techniques for other instruments at other times, so we will
show examples of works from well-known authors such as Brian Ferneyhough, Edgar
Varèse, George Crumb, Heitor Villalobos, Helmut Lachenmann, John Cage, Pierre Boulez,
among others.
The work is organized in such a way that we can consult international works, and
going thru most specifics and local compositions, from where the study is made, Galicia.
We have also made the description of differents extended techniques as well as
proposals for notations of techniques that have not been used for the bagpipe, so the work
aims to provide tools for composers and instrumentalists.
