En el presente trabajo se propone poner de manifiesto el aporte que puede ofrecer la Música Iberoamericana y Cubana en la Educación Musical de los alumnos, considerando
que relacionarse con otras culturas en general favorece la integración social, y amplía la formación musical de los discentes al conocer otros estilos musicales y comprender sus
características propias.
Se propone utilizar piezas del Cancionero Iberoamericano para desarrollar los contenidos de la materia de Lenguaje Musical en los Conservatorios de la provincia de Pontevedra, tomando como ejemplo algunas canciones extraídas del mismo. Se
considera necesario este tipo de prácticas porque pueden mejorar la calidad de la Enseñanza Musical en general, y de la música en particular.
Con este trabajo se pretende sensibilizar a los docentes de que la utilización de materiales folclóricos iberoamericanos puede favorecer la formación y Educación Musical
de los alumnos/as, así como iniciar un nuevo camino para futuras investigaciones didácticas y culturales.

In the present work it is proposed to highlight the great contribution that Ibero-American and Cuban music offers in the Musical Education of the students, considering that relating
to other cultures in general favors social integration, and expands the musical training of the students by knowing other musical styles and understand their own characteristics.
It is proposed to use pieces of the Iberoamerican Songbook to develop the contents of the subject of Musical Language in the Conservatories of the province of Pontevedra,taking as an example some songs taken from it. Is considered this type of practice necessary because they allow us to improve the quality of Music Education in general, and of music in particular.
This work aims to sensitize teachers that the use of Ibero-American folkloric materials can favor the education and Musical Education of students, as well as initiate a new path
for future didactic and cultural research.
